What is sleep training?

Our Sleep Practitioner’s are another very specialised part of the team who have expertise in guiding older babies and children (from 4 months to 4  years) to sleep through the night independently and happily. They will explain their strategies (which are tailored to your families specific needs) to you beforehand so that you will understand what is happening at all times. 

They will NOT abandon your baby to cry but will implement consistent methods in a calm manner so that your infant or child can understand and cope with the changes to their routine. 

Most sleep problems can be resolved within a week. 

Once your baby/child is sleeping through the night you will notice a significant change for the better in his behaviour, his concentration and his daytime sleeping habits. 

As sleep problems can be complex and differ greatly for the individual child it is possible you may only require telephone and email consultations. For deeper routed issues a home visit and overnight support might be necessary. Your consultant will give a month of telephone support and no limit on email support until the sleep problem is fully resolved.

Sleep Training Packages

Package 1

Sleep Plan - Diagnosis to determine sleep problem with specific plan and step by step instructions to be put in place independently by parents

Package 2

Sleep Problem Diagnosis & Plan with Full Remote Support Package (daily phone call, unlimited messaging and email for up to one month)

Package 3

3 nights with the Sleep Consultant in your home to implement Sleep Plan fully. Continued email support for as long as it is required.

Package 4

Complete day and night Routine Establishment (completed over 7 to 10 days) for infants aged 3 to 9 months. Including twins and triplets.

FAQ’s

  • Do you use the ‘cry it out’ method?

    No. Although some resistance to change, often in the form of crying, is normal during the implementing of a sleep plan your baby or child will never be left alone to ‘cry it out’
